Find it really hard to decide what to dress for a wedding of family or beloved friend? Don’t worry. Keep the following tips in mind, you can dress beautifully to a wedding without taking away the bride’s thunder. Remember though you want to look cool and stylish, but you should never distract others’ attention from the bride.
- Never ever wear white to a wedding, including prewedding festivities like engagement party, shower or rehearsal dinner. It is not your wedding, don’t dress like a bride. Dresses of solid color is appropriate.
- Avoid any sports wear no matter how much you like your new sweats! Sports wear would never be appropriate for a wedding. It won’t seem respectful to the wedding couple even the other gusts at the wedding!
- Stop exaggerated makeup. Don’t make yourself like a clown even overdoing bushes or smokey-eye makeup. Wedding is a sacred occasion, everyone should dress gracefully and elegantly.
- Collocate with the appropriate footwear. Spend much time to figure out the right dress for the wedding, don’t damage the whole look by lame shoes in the end. Wear a pair of really nice high heels. If you want to wear flats, that is ok too. But avoid over-casual flip flops.
